Chronology of cameras Mamiya

In July 1957, Popular Photography presented this camera as the "Professional Mamiyaflex". Its direct competitors are the Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex, the Minolta Autocord, the Rolleicord V, the Rolleiflex 3,5.
What distinguishes it from these devices is its ability to have interchangeable lenses and a bellows. From the beginning four sets of lenses are proposed: 60, 80 105 and 135 mm. As sets, together, because it is a part of the front plate that is changed. The two aiming and shooting lenses are provided in pairs, as on the French Rex Reflex.
The Seiko shutter is equipped with the MFX system.
The standard viewfinder can be removed to install a direct prism type viewfinder.
Mamiyaflex C is quickly recognized by the difference in size of the two wheels located on both sides of the apparatus.

In 1957, equipped with an 80 mm Zuiko-Olympus opening at 2.8, it was worth 149.50 dollars.
